The main ambition of the CSI Vilamoura is to promote the quality and diversity of the Algarve and Portugal aimed at tourism. Due to the fact that this type of event attracts the upper-class segment, to whom can thus be shown what the country and the region have to offer.
 
Recently upgraded, this Equestrian Center has 3 new obstacle courses with the most modern surface available internationally, 600 horse capacity with showers, and parking for about 200 trucks (with electricity and water). So with these facilities Vilamoura is prepared to hold International equestrian events and hopes to thus attract many in the future and develop even further.
 
Organized by Equievents, which despite it’s young age already has an impressive resumé of diverse equestrian events, responding to the growing need for the services they supply. Examples include various CSI and CSN, 11th edition of the European Horseball Championship, Ovibeja, the Indoor Circuit for the Sociedade Hípica Portuguesa, Galas and Equestrian Shows.
