The work of René Bertholo is recognised as being some of the most original and complex of his generation. Not only because of the wide range of forms of expression he has used, not to mention the design of mechanical objects and composition of electronic music, but also because of the contrast between its apparent almost “naïf” simplicity and the depth of his conception of the world and his era.
