Jean Luc Ponty revolutionized jazz violin in the 60’s and became one of the innovators of the jazz-rock movement after he moved to the USA in the 70s. He has collaborated with top musicians like George Duke, Frank Zappa, Elton John, John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke and Al Di Meola among others. He is also a refined and intelligent composer, constantly touring around the world with his band and has sold millions of albums. Ponty is considered today as the best jazz violinist in the world.

The second edition of the Cataplana Experience brings show cooking to Vilamoura Marina in September. Vitor Sobral, José Avillez and Luís Baena, some of the top chefs currently working in Portugal, will also be demonstrating some new ways of using the cataplana.
